Air fryer Kuttu Aloo Pakode is going to be your treat for this Navratri and this is not the only treat that I am bringing you this year, but few more that are prepared in Philips Air Fryer. This is not a sponsored post. All the views and experiences are my own.

Navratri embarks the onset of festival season in India. 9 days of fasting and 9 days of detoxing, not only for the body but also cleaning up mind and karma.

Navratri Fast is opened with gluten-free meals. People who observe the Navratri Fast, consume only one complete meal a day, in the evening. To know about the Navratri Dos and Don’ts, click ⇒ here !

I had bought Phillips Air Fryer earlier, this year. For some reason, it went inside the cupboard and didn’t surface much for use.

Since the pious days of Navratri started since 21st of September, my Air Fryer is out and I am having a blast using it, converting fried gluten free snacks into Air Fried version. This Air Fryer Kuttu Aloo Pakode is my first recipe that I am publishing using this amazing kitchen gadget.

I ate these airfryer kuttu aloo pakode with ⇑thick yogurt + Vrat ki Green Chutney as shared by Ruchi’s Kitchen. Sprinkled it with some Vrat ka Chaat masala and my brunch for the day was sorted.

Some habits are formed based on childhood memories. My mum always said that kuttu or buckwheat is warm in nature and dries your system. She always served these Kuttu Aloo Pakode with Yogurt, sprinkled with rock salt and black pepper.

Here are some Benefits and Pointers using your Air Fryer!

  1. Always use your Air-fryer on a counter which has space around for the hot air to circulate and escape. Do not use it placed near the wall. Make your Air Fryer your best friend and use it frequently.
  2. The products made in Air fryer are crisp and crunchy but not exactly how they are when deep fried. So expect that.

  3. It is great to prepare low fat meals. The meals prepared are not oil-free but very less oil is used comparatively.

  4. The air-fryer is very easy to clean up.

  5. The frozen fried foods are so conveniently heated in it without re-frying the food.

  6. All your fritters, fries and wadas can be reheated in it, maintaining the crispness of the food.

  7. There is no after smell of the fried food, in the house.

  8. You do not have to baby sit the food while it air fries inside the air fryer. You have more time on hand.

  9. It has multiple use and can be used for baking and grilling as well besides air-frying.

  10. It is definitely a smart kitchen tool. Keep a watch on my blog for more Air Fryer recipes.

Always preheat the Air fryer for few minutes. Then set the required temperature on the air-fryer. Place a single sheet of foil in the middle of the basket of air fryer and grease it lightly. Leave the sides of the basket clear. Do not cover the whole basket with foil or it will not air fry the food properly. Place the kuttu aloo dough balls on the foil. Air fry these and they are ready.

Placement of foil is not required for everything that you fry. It is mainly helpful when the food is slightly wet or soft to handle.
