Happy Holi to you Sonal! This pudding looks delicious! thanks for the thandai mixture recipe! So for making thandai, you just mix the mixture with some milk? I so much want to try this – both your pudding and thandai! And I would love to spike them with a lil’ something too! 🙂

I had celebrated holi just once when i was in college. It was super fun. I have heard pf thandai, but never had it. Is it the same as baang? The pudding version of it looks yummy. 🙂

I will let you know and agree about leaving out the rose water with the tea. I think you could charge for shipping. I do almost all my shopping online and expect to pay for shipping. You could offer free shipping girders over a certain dollar amount, like $15 or $20 spent gets free shipping. I think $5 is s bargain for 2 oz of spice.

In reply to apuginthekitchen. I made the drink last night, I didn't have dried rose so I used rose water/essence, I used the cashews instead of the chironji and magaj. I also used both rose water and saffron in mine. What a delicious and addictive combination. I hope you are going to sell this Thandai mix in your shop because I will always like to keep this on hand. I was thinking of making a chai with it, steeping a tea bag in the spiced milk. So so good Sonal.

Growing up in the south has many of us wondering what the fuss about playing with water and colours is! Yes, I am not a holi person :)) But my daughter loves it! Its her most fav festival. She loves to get wet and smothered with colours. Thandai is synonymous with this colourful festival.. and you make a pudding with it! Love it Sonal.
