Easy Air Fryer Biscuit Cheese Bombs Recipe

These Biscuit Cheese Bombs are so addictive and yummy. Easy to make in air fryer and you can stuff these with the filling of your choice. Perfect for Breakfast, After school snack or a Game Night Appetizer.

      Preparing the Biscuit Cheese Bombs Ingredients

      • Take 1 mozzarella cheesestick and cut it into 12 small equal pieces. Similarly cut the other 3 cheesesticks too. You will have 48 small mozzarella pieces with you after cutting all the 4 sticks. Set them aside.
      • I used jalapenos with the cheese for this recipe to add a bit of kick and flavor. So if you plan to use it too, then finely chop the jalapeno and set aside. I kept the seeds with it. You can choose to remove it.
      • Now open the can of Pillsbury Grands Biscuit. Separate all the 8 biscuits and set aside.

      Preparing Biscuits into Cheese Bombs

      • Take 1 biscuit and separate it into 2 from the centre layer. WATCH THE VIDEO. Repeat it with all the biscuits. Now you will have 16 thin biscuits to make cheese bombs.
      • Take 1 thin biscuit and stretch it out a bit in all the directions using hands. Place 3 small mozzarella cheese pieces in the middle of the bisciut. If you are using jalapenos, then add a bit of chopped mozzarella also in the middle. WATCH THE VIDEO. 
      • Bring the sides of the biscuit to the center and close it. Roll it gently between your hands to create a ball/bomb. Place it on a plate.
      • Finish all the 16 thin biscuits likewise and roll them into bombs. Now brush them lightly with some melted butter on the top. 
      • Sprinkle with some everything bagel seasoning and dry parsley. Set aside.

      Air frying Pillsbury Biscuit Cheese Bombs

      • Preheat the airfryer at 310*F for 5 minutes.
      • Now place a parchment paper inside the basket. Then place 4-5 rolled biscuits inside the basket. Make sure there is gap between the 2 since they will expand as they cook in air fryer.
      • Air fry for 8-10 minutes till these get golden at the top. Once golden from top, remove from air fryer basket. Air fry the rest similarly. It will take 3-4 batches to cook all 16 biscuit cheese bombs.

      Serve

      • Serve these AIRFRYER BISCUIT CHEESE BOMBS with Spicy Mayonnaise or with the dip of your choice.

      How to make Spicy Mayo at home?

      • Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 1 tbsp (or more) Buffalo sauce or hot sauce of your choice. Mix both well Spicy Mayo is ready.

      What can I use to replace Pillsbury Biscuits for this recipe?

      You can use Pillsbury crescent dough and even puff pastry dough for this recipe. 

      Can I use Pizza dough for this recipe?

      Pizza dough will work great for this recipe. It will be called Pizza Bombs then. Air fry these at 390*f for 5-6 minutes or till golden on the top.

      How long does it take for Pillsbury Biscuits to cook in Air Fryer?

      You can air fry Pillsbury Grands Biscuits at 330*F for 6-8 minutes or till done.

      Can I make this recipe in the oven?

      You can easily bake these in the Oven. Follow the preparation instructions as is. Then bake in pre-heated oven at the temperature and time given at the back of the packet.

      Can I double this recipe?

      You can easily double or triple the recipe to feed bigger crowd.

      Is it ok to make this recipe in advance?

      You can but I would advise you to make these fresh. These take no time and such minimal prep. Or prep in advance and air-fry when ready to eat.

      For how long can I store these Cheese Bombs?

      Although these are best enjoyed fresh and hot out of the air-fryer, but there can be leftovers. They should be fine for a day at the kitchen counter or refrigerate them in an air tight container. 

      How to re-heat the leftovers?

      To re-heat the letovers, air fry these at 250*F for few minutes till hot.
