Air Fryer Bread Pizza Recipe
This Air Fryer Bread Pizza Recipe is super easy & quick to make. It is so delicious and perfect as anytime snack or brunch/breakfast. Can be made in the oven or gas top too.
Servings: 4 Servings
- 8 slices Medium Thick Slices of any Bread I used Garlic Artisan Bread Loaf
- 1/2 cup Onions finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes (use firm tomatoes) finely chopped
- 1/2 cup or more Shredded Cheese cheddar, mozzarella or gruyere
- 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce or Pizza Sauce
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- To Taste Salt & Black Pepper

Prepare the Pizza Topping
Take a Mixing Bowl and add chopped vegetables, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper to it. Give a good mix to the ingredients. Set aside.

What kind of Bread can I use for this recipe?
I have used medium thick slices of artisan garlic bread loaf here. I have made this recipe on French Bread also and Bun Pizza too. Also this recipe can easily be made on a regular white or whole wheat bread including multi-grain. Therefore all and any kind of bread can be used.
What other kind of toppings can I use?
I have used simple basic topping ingredients here - onion & tomato. But you can use bell peppers, jalapeno, banana peppers, spinach, olives etc. You decide.
Can I make it ahead of time?
I wouldn't advise that. Although you can prepare the pizza topping ahead of time and refrigerate. And use it when ready to air fry. Since the recipe is so quick and easy to make, I promise you would want to make it fresh.
What kind of Sauce can I use for this recipe?
I always use Marinara Pasta Sauce since it is always there in my refrigerator. But there have been times when I have used ketchup too. Now you can use pesto, pizza sauce, arabiatta sauce, margheritta sauce or whatever sauce you have handy.
What kind of Cheese can I use?
Although Pizza tastes the best with mozzarella cheese, but you can use any kind that is handy. I have used shredded cheddar cheese along with some parmesan cheese. Gruyere cheese or any melting cheese will be great.
Can I make it in the Oven?
Yes absolutely. You can make it in the oven or OTG. Bake it in the pre-heated oven at 425*F for about 8-10 minutes or the cheese melts nicely. Use the middle rack for baking.
Can I make it on a Gas top?
It is fairly easy to make it on the gas top. Heat a heavy bottom pan and grease a bit. Place the prepared bread slices on it. Cover with a towering lid and cook on low heat till cheese melts. Use thick slices for this recipe.
Is it possible to make it in Air fryer lid or Mealthy Crisp Lid?
Yes. Use the same instructions as air fryer.
