Equipment

  • Measuring Spoons, Measuring Cups, Stirring Spoon,

Ingredients

  • 2&1/2 cups Low fat Milk or use almond milk or plant based milk for vegan option

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1/8 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp Honey You mau use jaggery or any other sweetener

Instructions

  • Take a heavy bottom sauce pan. Add milk, turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom powder. Bring it to a boil and switch off the gas stove.
  • Now take 2 coffee cups and pour this milk in the cups from a distance, creating foam. Do this near your sink to avoid any extra cleaning due to spills.
  • Sweeten it with honey and drink it while it is still warm.

Notes

It works the best when consumed before going to bed. It keeps you warm and cozy and helps you sleep as well. You may drink it in the morning as well.
