First of all, wash the broccoli in kitchen colander. And then pat it dry. Further cut it into small florets. Make sure that they are of equal size. Do not keep them too large. Small florets are good.
Preheat the Air fryer at 400*F for few minutes.
Now take a mixing bowl and add broccoli florets to it. Add olive oil, salt, & black pepper to the florets. Give them a good toss with hands or kitchen tongs.
Now place these seasoned broccoli florets on pre-heated air fryer basket. And Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes. I like to air fry mine for 5 minutes. It gets that perfect roast without making the broccoli bitter. It is still juicy at the core and so good.
Shake the air fryer basket in between 1-2 times for even cooking.
When done, take the florets out. Toss them with some craisins or dried cranberries (sweetened) and squirt some lemon juice on top. It is the best thing ever with all the flavors going on.
You can also add toasted walnuts or sliced almonds with broccoli to make it a wholesome side.
