Summers holler for drinks! I mean drinks of any kind and shade – coolers, lemonade or limeade, cocktails, mocktails and so on.

With time, I have developed a plan to use the mushed up berries. I just can’t throw them away. Nobody wants to touch the tender berries. So I blitz them little something and get a great refreshing drink.

Have I ever admitted that I love fruits but donot like eating then much. Wierd ? Huh! Yes, there are people like me too. So I find such ways to consume fruits, which are interesting and that I can drink on.

Enjoy this drink anytime with family and friends.

  3. Looks so refreshing Sonal. My favorite smoothie ingredient is berries. Love the lemon & mint here. And I’m so curious about the rock salt. I see you answered a comment earlier saying it brings out the best…so interesting! I would never think to add to a drink but I’m definitely going to try. Is Kala Namak a particular rock salt?? 🙂

    1. It is really rejuvenating Seana! A balance of flavors.
Kala namak or rock salt is salty and pungent-smelling condiment used in South Asia. The condiment is composed largely of sodium chloride with several other components lending the salt its colour and smell.
Pink Himalyan salt is another derivative. You may use that in place of black salt.
