Prep the Nacho toppings
Fresh Vegetables - First of all wash and chop all of the vegetables fine. Make sure to keep the size of all the vegetables same. If you are using Green onions, then chop the whites and greens separately. Set aside.
Canned Condiments - Further chop the pickled jalapenos and set aside. If you are using whole black olives, then slice those. Set aside. Now drain the canned black beans and wash under running water. Set aside.
Layer the Nachos in Air fryer
Although you can layer the nachos directly on the air fryer basket, but I will not recommend it. It will be hard to eat out of the air fryer basket.
To make it easy to cook and serve, I recommend using Aluminum Foil. Tear a large sheet of aluminum foil and fold into a double layer. Now place it into your Air Fryer basket in a way that its corners are riding on the sides of the air fryer basket. This will make it easy to take the nachos out from the basket. See the picture above. Now layer half of the NACHO CHIPS on the aluminum foil. Sprinkle half of the TACO CHEESE MIX evenly on the chips layer. Now sprinkle half of chopped onions, tomatoes, white part of the green onions, bell peppers, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp taco seasoning, half of the BLACK BEANS on top of the chips. Now place the second layer of the nacho chips and repeat the whole process with cheese, vegetables and beans.

NACHO RECIPE TIPS
Air fryer nachos are super easy to make, but a few tips below will ensure crispy, crunchy, cheesy nachos every single time!
- Make sure that you choose chips that are restaurant quality for best results, ones that are firm enough to hold up under layers. Thick chips work better than thin chips.
- Although you can layer the chips directly on the basket but I recommend using ALUMINUM FOIL at the bottom. Makes it easy to take the chips out and serve.
- You can layer up to 3 layers of chips with lots of cheese.
How to reheat the leftovers?
Although there will not be any leftovers, but if you do have leftovers then just re-heat these in air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 300*F.

What are the Ingredients to make Nachos in Air Fryer?
Now the picture above shows a lot of ingredients. And it is because I really wanted to load up my Nachos! Lol! But you can pick and choose whichever you want to unclude...either one or all. Although I would suggest not to skip any. Afterall it is LOADED NACHOS.
- Nacho Chips - When you are making loaded nachos, make sure to use THICKER NACHO CHIPS. These will retain the texture and stay crisp while you are air frying. Also I prefer using smaller size nacho chips which are easier to layer and pick from the melted mess.
- Cheese - I like to use TACO CHEESE MIX which is easily available in the grocery stores. Or you can use any shredded cheese that melts easily. Cheddar woeks well. Few folks use Velveeta too. I personally do not like it. But if you like it, then go ahead and use that.
- Beans - Although I love using BLACK BEANS, you may use Pinto beans. Or totally skip it.
- Taco Seasoning - I love to spice up my NACHOS. I often use ortega brand taco seasoning. You can use either store bought or homemade. Or skip it. But I would totally recommend it since it adds nice kick to this vegetarian appetizer.
- Onions & Tomatoes - I use a combination of red onions and green onions. For tomatoes, I go for Cherry Tomatoes. You can use any kind of tomatoes but make sure it is firm in texture.
- Jalapenos and Black Olives - Canned Jalapenos come so handy for my nachos. I chop these up and add to my nachos. You can also use fresh chopped jalapenos. Black olives add nice color contrast to the dish. You can use either both or one.
- Bell Peppers - I love adding chopped colorful bell peppers to my nachos. It adds such pretty colors.
- Cilantro leaves - Adds nice flavor and color contrast to the dish.
- SAUCES & DIPS - I normally top my AIR FRIED NACHOS with sour cream, tobasco and Salsa. You can add guacamole or chopped avocado on top too.
