Yes that is what she was! A truly Dazzling and Sparkling Diva!
Selma and I met on Angie’s Fiesta Friday! From aquaintances, we became friends. She was always there with her sweet encouraging comments and warmth. An enthusiastic childlike chuckle with a grace of the lady! Strong and Powerful! What a shame that I just read her About page.
There is a lot that I can say and write today about her but I take this moment on Fiesta Friday to be quiet and more of a listener. A reminder to be Supporting in Silence.

One of your works caught my attention. Sparkle. That is what she called her sourdough starter I believe. It wasn’t all that long ago that I received some of her sparkle. She was such a kind giving person that always made everyone feel like a friend. I was sad to hear of her passing. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
True Julie! Sparkle she was. I received some of her starter too. When I use it, will call it Selma!
I am calling mine Phoenix. It’s like a starter creates new life for the bread that follows. Thank you Sonal for this wonderful tribute. I need to use get this starter growing so I can use it!
