Easy & Simple Air Fryer Granola Recipe

My kids love Granola. It is super delicious and adds a good bout of nutrition to that handful snacking. Since my younger daughter is hooked to granola, I make a batch almost every 10 days or so. And cooking granola in air fryer has been a game changer for me. No preheating the oven for long and warming up the whole kitchen anymore. Just mix the ingredients and air fry and it is done in 15 minutes.

This home-made Granola has rolled oats, cinnamon, brown sugar, honey as base ingredients. And then I added some nuts & seeds to make it more wholesome. I love snacking on it as is. And my kid loves toppinng her parfaits with it.

what are the ingredients of granola?

What are the ingredients of Home-made Granola?

My home made Granola requires handful ingredients that are already pantry staple.

  • Old Fashioned Rolled Oats – I would highly recommend that you use old fashioned rolled oats. Quick cooking oats would burn easily and are not wholesome. If you do not have it then buy it. It is a good buy. You will make this home made granola again and again.
  • Brown Sugar – Brown Sugar adds nice color and deep flavor to the granola.
  • Cinnamon – You will love adding cinnamon to your granola. It adds warmth.
  • Salt – just a tad bit is enough.
  • Avocado Oil – Since avocado oil is neutral in flavor, it is a great addition. But you can use coconut oil too.
  • Honey – You can either use honey or maple syrup for your granola.
  • Vanilla Extract – It adds delicious flavor and aroma.
  • Nuts and Seeds – Although a simple granola is good with above ingredients. But the addition of Walnuts & Almonds and Chia Seeds make granola more wholesome.
