Minty Peanuts is the perfect snack to keep you warm and happy during winters. Or make it to entertain the guests. An easy recipe to make.
Minty Peanuts
I had eaten these minty peanuts at a friend’s place and boy I couldn’t stop eating these. They were sensual with that romantic minty hint and loaded crunch of peanuts. I slapped my hand every time it reached out for more but all in vain. My hand kept making that mistake of grabbing and stuffing my mouth. Dang!!
These peanuts were crunchy and so comforting that every bite left me craving for more. Has it ever happened to you?
I think these make the perfect snack for winters. Who am I kidding? It makes a perfect snack with tea time. I remember my dad opening the roasted peanuts from the shell and popping these delicious crunch nuggets into his mouth, one after the other. It was and still is his favorite time pass. He is very picky about his peanuts.
I see the same trait in my husband now. He loves popping the shells and stuffing the nuts in his mouth. Sometimes, I hide the peanuts from him, since once he sees the peanuts, he can’t control. LOL.
Minty Peanuts are also called Pudine wali Mungfali, where Mint is Pudina and Peanut is Mungfali.
This is how I tried to recreate the similar taste of the Minty Peanuts, that I had tried the friend’s place. They were crunchy and delicious, drenched with the goodness of mint.
There are many ways to prepare Peanuts and other nuts like Masala Kaju, Air fried Salted Nuts, Masala Makhana, Honey Chili Lemon Nuts and much more.
It is a great recipe for the game snack, football appetizer and drinks night!
