Diwali Recipes Collection 2016

Here is Diwali Recipes Collection 2016 for all your benefit this year.
Diwali is on 30th October this year (2016), just a day before Halloween. Kids are excited and confused at the same time. 2 most loved events are happening, back to back.
It is hard for me to explain to them that, Diwali is a religious tradition whereas Halloween is an American cultural event. One is observed for Prosperous and Good Life whereas, the other is a witcheous dressing up theatrical drama on the streets. I am struggling to keep peace between the Goddess Lakshmi(Goddess of Wealth & Prosperity) on one side and the Ghosts and Witches on the other…sigh! 😀
Kids are kind of bummed since I am not letting them put any ghostly decorations till the H-DAY itself. My motto is clear with them – Let me welcome Lakshmi first with no sight of peeking ghosts and witches, and then we will do the Halloween ritual on the day itself.
They are painting Diyas and Pumpkins at the same time. I am loving that!! The benefits of cross culture impact.
I will get to the Diwali Recipes Collection 2016, directly now, without much ado. There are 3 categories going there – Sweets or Mithai; Savory or Namkeen; and Paneer Main Course Dishes.
Thanks to all the dear blogger friends who contributed to the collective –Â Ruchi Dua , Anjana, Shailja , Naina , Binjal , Poonam , Piyali , Aish, Radha and Ruchi Airen.
