Easy Air Fryer Garlic Bread Recipe

Super delicious Air fryer Garlic Bread is so easy to make and quick too. Done under 15 minutes, it is a great side to your Pasta, and Soups. Or eat it as is like a snack.

  • 5 tbsp Butter softened at room temperature
  • 4 large cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Parsley leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese shredded

      Home made GARLIC BUTTER RECIPE

      • To make Garlic Butter at home, make sure that the butter is at the room temperature and soft. You do not have to melt it. Just keep it at the room temperature.
      • Take a Mixing Bowl. Now add Butter, minced Garlic, minced Parsley & shredded Parmesan Cheese to the bowl. Take a fork and mix all the ingredients well till nicely incorporated.
      • This is your Home-made Garlic Butter. You can make it in double quanity and store in the refrigerator upto 2 weeks at least. And use as needed.
      • To make Garlic Bread, keep this Garlic Butter at room temperature. If refrigerated, microwave it for 5-10 seconds to soften it to spread.

      Home-made GARLIC BREAD RECIPE in AIR FRYER

      • Take the loaf of bread. Cut it into 1 inch thick slices. Set aside. I used 1/2 loaf of bread. It gave me about 6 slices and 2 corner chunky pieces.
      • Now slather these slices with the home-made Garlic Butter.
      • Preheat the Air fryer for 1 minute at 350*F. Now place 3-4 garlic bread slices inside.
      • AIR FRY these for 4-5 minutes till butter melts and the top gets crispy and brown. It is done. 
      • Serve these hot with Marinara sauce or as is.

      OVEN BAKED GARLIC BREAD RECIPE

      • Follow the same instructions for prep.
      • You can bake these in the oven at 350*F for 12-15 minutes till crispy.

      TIPS

      • Adjust the time to how crispy you like your bread. Mine were done to perfect crispness in 4 minutes. But it can take up to 5 minutes in different models.
      • This recipe was tested in the Instant Vortex Plus which requires preheating. You can skip the pre-heating if your air fryer does not require it.
      • Do not stack the garlic breads in the air fryer since you want them to be evenly toasted.
      • These air fryer garlic bread goes well with my Pasta Primavera and Creamy Pesto Pasta.
      • Use a day old loaf of bread for the perfect texture.

      MAKE AHEAD TIPS

      • Meal prep: store leftover garlic bread in an air-tight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. You can re-heat it in the microwave for upto 10 seconds. You can also quickly air fryer or bake the garlic bread until it has warmed through. 
      • Freezer Tip: once you’ve spread the garlic butter mix onto the bread, freeze them in a single layer. Once frozen, transfer them into an air-tight container before storing them in the freezer. When you’re ready to enjoy, air fryer them straight from frozen at 350F for 5-7 minutes.

      MAke Garlic Butter with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese + 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese + 1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese. Spread it and Air fry at 350*F for 4-5 minutes.

      How to cook Frozen Garlic Bread in Air Fryer?

      For frozen garlic bread, cook it in air-fryer at 375*F for 5-8 minutes or till done. 

      How to re-heat Texas Toast in Air fryer?

      Preheat air-fryer at 330*F. Then place the leftover ggarlic bread in the airfryer and cook for 2-3 minutes till warm.

      What kind of Bread can I use for Garlic Bread Recipe?

      You can use the following -
      1. French Bread Loaf - I love using this since it gives TEXAS TOAST kind of texture. 
      2. Baguette - It is perfect when you are making it as an appetizer and want to keep a smaller bread on the side.
      3. Ciabatta - This is another great choice to use to make Garlic Bread.

      How can I personalize the Garlic Bread?

      • You can use basil or Italian seasoning in the Garlic Butter to personalize this.
      • If you want more cheesy texture, then top with some shredded mozzarella and air-fry.
      • You can add some finely chopped vegetables like tomatoes, onions and mini bell peppers for some Pizza flat bread in your Garlic Bread.

      What are the ingredients of GARLIC BREAD RECIPE?

      As I said, we need just handful of ingredients for this recipe.
      THICK CRUSTY BREAD - The best kind of bread to use for this recipe is Wide French Bread. Although you can use any kind of bread that is handy for this recipe. Ciabatta is a good option for this recipe. Make sure to cut the bread into 1 inch thick slice.
      BUTTER - Use salted Butter. If you are using unsalted butter then you may have to add salt to the Garlic Butter.
      GARLIC - Freshly minced garlic is the best. You can use Dry Garlic powder also but then you might have to use it a lot. Fresh Garlic is the best for the best flavors.
      PARSLEY - I used fresh Parsley. But you can use Dry Parsley also for this recipe.
      PARMESAN CHEESE - Parmesan cheese adds to the body of the Garlic Butter and holds the ingredients together without makinng it too cheesy. I used shredded parmesan but you can use powdered parmesan too.
